Question 1

How does scary voice generator pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Scary voice generator pricing here runs on credits. You buy them with a monthly plan, a yearly plan or a one-time credit pack, and each generation spends some of them: 12 credits per 1,000 characters of Fast speech, 28 per 1,000 characters of Cinematic speech and 5 per sound effect. The voice changer and all 6 effects are free.

Question 2

Is scary voice generator pricing the same for every voice?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All 8 voices and 6 effects cost the same. Only the engine (Fast or Cinematic) and the length of the line change how many credits a generation uses.

Question 3

Is there a free scary voice generator option?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Without paying anything you get 3 free generations a day, each a Fast voice line of up to 300 characters or a sound effect, with no sign-up. Signed-in accounts get the same free generations, used before credits whenever a line fits. Free generations for signed-out visitors share a daily limit, so on busy days they can run out early.

Question 4

How many minutes of scary text to speech do the credits buy?

Accepted Answer

A minute of English narration is roughly 900 characters, so it costs about 11 credits on the Fast engine or 26 on Cinematic. Each plan card shows that estimate for its own credits. You're charged by characters, so short lines cost less.

Question 5

What's the difference between monthly, yearly and credit packs?

Accepted Answer

Monthly plans add fresh credits every billing month. Yearly plans are billed once a year at a lower price than twelve monthly payments and grant the whole year's credits up front. Credit packs are a one-time purchase with no subscription and nothing to cancel.

Question 6

Do unused credits roll over?

Accepted Answer

Subscription credits last until the end of the billing period they were granted for, then expire; a yearly plan's credits last the whole year. Credit pack credits stay valid for 365 days from purchase. Whichever credits expire soonest are spent first.

Question 7

How do I cancel, and what happens to my credits?

Accepted Answer

Cancel anytime from Billing in your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for and then stops renewing, and the credits you hold stay usable until they expire.

Question 8

What happens to my credits if a generation fails?

Accepted Answer

They come back to your balance automatically. Every generation and its status is listed in My voices.

Question 9

Can I buy a credit pack without a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A credit pack is a one-time purchase on its own. If you also have a plan, the pack's credits simply add to your balance.

Question 10

Can I use the audio commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On the free tier or any paid plan you may use the audio you generate in your own projects, including monetized videos, podcasts and games. Reselling the preset voices themselves isn't allowed; the Terms of Service have the details.

Question 11

Which scary voice generator plan should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Start with the free daily generations to find your voice and effect. Starter suits short clips, Pro suits creators who post every week and Studio suits channels, games and long series. Each card shows roughly how many minutes its credits cover, so pick the one that fits a usual month of your scripts.
